Goodbye to Boeing 747

Sharing is caring!

It’s an end of time for the plane Boeing 747. It retired today whilst it departed from San Francisco Int Airport for Honolulu. The last of ‘the queen of the skies’

8418 took off at 11 a.m., paying a tribute to its first trip on itslast trip. The celebration has a 1970’s themed party for the reminisce of the plane’s first flight from San Francisco to Honolulu. The flight was sold out

A passenger, Vincent Forni from San Francisco quoted, “I wasn’t even born in 1970 but I wanted to feel how it feels like to fly back in the 70’s.”

The plane was first launched in 1968 and it couldn’t take a lot of people and can’t handle long trips so the goodbyes had to be bid. It will be parked in airplane graveyard near the Mojave Desert.
